The principal said he also brought up the issue with the school's PTSA group.

Parents claimed the school of "cafeteria classism", according to ABC Action News. The letter that said they could skip to the front of the lunch line for a donation to the Parent Teacher Student Association.

"(The PTSA) which operates independently from the school financially, however, can not make school decisions without the principal's approval", Brian Andrews, principal of the school, told Fox News.

A letter sent home with a Florida school's orientation packet asks for PTSA donations and offers children a pass to the front of the lunch line if they donate a certain amount.

Bonsignore: Sammy Watkins is Rams' gift to Jared Goff
Watkins is reunited with former Bills wideout Robert Woods in Los Angeles and is expected to fill the team's top receiver role. The Bills' secondary did need to improve, as last season, they ranked 20th in Adjusted Defensive Passing NEP per play.

The principal though, says he never saw the form and would have never included it in the packet.

"Hey my dad has more money than you I get to eat first you have to wait you have to wait", Stephenson speculated what the form would incite from young students.

"You got those who can pay, and those who cannot", Christ Stephenson, a father of one of the school's students, told WXYZ. "You have to wait, you have to wait, '" said Stephenson, imitating the possible teasing and bullying that could come from the fundraising idea.

Andrews told Fox News that he did not approve of the form.

"As a PTSA group, they're always looking to for creative ways to raise funds".

"This definitely hits home for me, and I am very upset about it", said Brian Andrews, principal of Lawton Chiles Middle Academy. Donations are welcome and accepted, however this addition including front of the lunch line was not approved by me, and our school goes above and beyond to be inclusive of all students. They say that the letter was accidentally put into orientation packets and that the program will not be going forward. This Family and Business Sponsorship program was explored, but we made a decision to not implement.

The PTSA says the letter ended up in the hands of hundreds of students "due to a clerical error"-saying, "This Family and Business Sponsorship program was explored, but we decided not to implement it". The intent of our PTSA is to always do the best for our students and families.
