"On Monday, DNC Chair Tom Perez and Bernie Sanders kicked off the 'Unity Tour, ' admitting that their party is, well, not unified", said RPOF Chairman Blaise Ingoglia.
During interviews with those in the crowd Tuesday, it was clear there is still a lot of skepticism about the Democratic Party among Sanders' supporters.
NPR's Scott Detrow has been on the road with Sanders and Perez and joins us from Grand Prairie, Texas.
SCOTT DETROW, BYLINE: Hey, Ari. "That's actually really important considering what happened past year", said Cynthia Busch, chairwoman of the Broward Democratic Party. Her group said the party is potentially losing voters because it has shut out pro-life Democrats. That is a harsh statement, especially on a unity tour.
But 19-year-old Corina Campbell of Omaha said she was ready to back Sanders for president again in 2020. "I can tell him that - you can un-elect him!"
DETROW: I think he's really putting out the case for the types of really progressive stances that he's talked about for years and he's saying that the party needs to come on board with - things like, you know, a Medicare-for-all health care system, much more aggressive regulation of the financial sector. Hayes asked Perez. "Do you have to say "these are the people that are screwing you"?" And given Democrats need every voter possible to turn out in the June 20 runoff, comments like Sanders's are very unhelpful.
Rep. Tim Ryan, a Democrat from eastern OH, said the party needs to be more aggressive in organizing target voters, whom he described as working and middle class voters who turned to Trump, and recruiting from within them. And that's what I'm running around this country trying to do.

More importantly, the Boston Celtics as a team can't give up and must find cohesion. "So we're just family", Bradley said. While the Chicago Bulls won in a close 106-102 match, Thomas finished with six assists and five rebounds in 38 minutes.
OMAHA, Nebraska (AP) Bernie Sanders, who attracted millions of college-aged and young adults to his presidential campaign past year, is following through on a promise he made when he left the race: to promote younger leaders for the Democratic Party. Sanders opposed Perez, Hillary Clinton's preferred candidate, and supported Keith Ellison, who was ultimately defeated. Many supporters of Clinton's campaign believe she failed not because she declined to attack the rich, but primarily because of outside factors beyond her control - the last-minute letter from FBI Director James Comey; the foreign intervention by Vladimir Putin and WikiLeaks; the archaic nature of the Electoral College. We should build organizations that can speak to the voters they need to win over. The tour, called "Come together and fight back", is being promoted as an effort to "increase grassroots activism".
SHAPIRO: Had a little audio glitch there.
PEREZ: Well, listen, when we put hope on the ballot, we win.
A crowd of roughly 1,200 filled the State Theatre, with the loudest cheers for Sanders and jeers at mentions of the "1 percent" and Trump's executive orders and proposed budget cuts.
"No, it's you and you and you", he said, recounting how public outcry helped defeat the GOP heath care plan. Do you think that's playing out in Congress, where Democrats drew a red line on negotiating on health care (no repeal of Obamacare) and are drawing another on taxes (Trump must release his tax returns first)? What's the thinking behind the itinerary on this tour?
